ABOUT NICOLE

⎯⎯ ✧⎯⎯

My work was born from my own healing journey.

My journey has taken me from trauma therapist to shamanic practitioner and has been shaped by nearly two decades of walking beside people through their healing journeys and reclamation of their deepest selves and their place in the interconnected web of life.

As a trauma therapist, I spent more than 17 years supporting individuals through anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and profound emotional pain. I specialized in EMDR, somatic approaches, and nervous system healing, helping people reconnect with themselves, process trauma,  and move beyond the limitations of their past.

Yet over time, I began to notice something.

Many of the people I worked with understood their stories. They had insight. They had done years of personal growth and therapy. And still, something remained unresolved.

I witnessed experiences that could not be fully explained through traditional clinical frameworks alone—deep intuitive knowing, ancestral patterns, spiritual awakenings, recurring dreams, profound experiences in ceremony, and the lingering sense that parts of the self had become disconnected along the way.

My own healing journey revealed the same truth.

I came to understand that while therapy is powerful, healing often asks us to go beyond the mind. It asks us to listen to the wisdom of the body, the voice of the soul, the intelligence of nature, and the deeper layers of our human experience.

This realization led me into the study of shamanic healing, ancestral work, ceremony, soul retrieval, dreamwork, divination, energy healing, and plant medicine. Rather than replacing my clinical background, these practices expanded it—allowing me to bridge trauma-informed therapeutic work with ancient healing traditions.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of both worlds.

Beyond the Work

⎯⎯ ✦ ⎯⎯

Currently I am spending my days in the wild landscape of Costa Rica with my sweet little family learning to slow down even further and connect more deeply with nature. We are often found swimming in the ocean and bird and butterfly watching.

Much of my work and what I teach and share has emerged not only through my professional training, but my own journey through healing, loss, transformation, initiations, and learning how to trust the deeper wisdom that lives within all of us.

I am grateful for all of my teachers, including the land, mentors and guides, and the Great Mystery.

This work is not simply what I do. It is how I walk in the world. It is an honor to walk with you.
